Design and Make students were briefed to design and build the primary structure for the remaining two thirds of Wakeford Hall at Hooke Park, combining natural forking tree geometry with engineered (glu-lam) timber. With the act of making at the centre of the process, the structure integrates material knowledge with progressive design and fabrication technologies, while also adapting to new possibilities for an evolving campus.
