Digital Fabrication Technician

David started out as a shipwright before running away to sea on traditional sailing vessels. He juggled sailing with working in Antarctica and then studying Sustainable Product Design at Falmouth University, before working as a product designer, first visiting Hooke Park on one of its annual Open Days. David has a real love of traditional skills and natural materials, and enjoys using digital tools to complement craft and advance what can be done with timber.
