The AA Book is published annually and features hundreds of projects by students from every academic programme in the school. This year, units and programmes’ pages are gathered, unbound, in groupings that reflect those of the exhibitors in Projects Review 2025 – an archipelago in print to celebrate the work of the year.
‘The AA expresses itself through its independence and its plurality. We are an extraordinary archipelago, but with so many islands, this moment is a valuable opportunity to plot the causeways between them and to find the places where these land bridges have silted up a little, gained ground over time, and created a more varied and extensive topography. The work on these pages teases out the correlation between positions and spaces of mutual understanding. They are spaces of tenuous consensus and ongoing debate.’ – Ingrid Schroder, AA Director
