Tim is Professor of Art History (Emeritus) at the Open University and has served as visiting professor at Columbia University, Williams College, the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, the Berlage Institute Delft and the Bard Graduate Center. He has cocurated several major exhibitions including Le Corbusier Architect of the Century (Hayward Galler), Art and Power (Hayward Gallery), Art Deco 1910–1939 (V&A) and Modernism: Designing a New World 1918–1939 (V&A). He has written widely on Le Corbusier, Eileen Gray and modern architecture between the wars.
