Theodore is Head of the Design Research Lab (DRL) at the AA and a resident artist at Somerset House. He has been a Professor of Architecture at the Staedelschule, a visiting Research Fellow at MIT’s Center for Advanced Visual Studies and a distinguished guest professor at the Leopold Franzens-Universität Innsbruck. He cofounded the art, architecture and design practice Minimaforms. Theodore has previously worked for the offices of Peter Eisenman and Zaha Hadid. In 2013, ACADIA awarded him the Award of Excellence for his educational work directing the DRL. He has authored Adaptive Ecologies: Correlated Systems of Living, Enablingand forthcoming publications Quantum (2024) and Elemental: Phenomena as Technology (2025).
