Milad Showkatbakhsh

Milad holds a PhD from the AA and completed his MArch at the Pratt Institute, where he graduated with the Sidney Katz Award for design excellence in 2015. Milad has worked for several international architecture and design firms including Contemporary Architecture Practice (CAP) as a design technology specialist. Milad is the Programme head of the AA Emergent Technologies and Design (EmTech) Postgraduate Programme and AA DLAB Visiting School. He is the cofounder of Wallacei, an evolutionary and analytic engine with embedded machine learning algorithms that gives users full control over their evolutionary simulations in Grasshopper 3D. In addition, Milad’s research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at conferences.
