Larissa is an architect and urbanist. She works at Social Life, a research organisation focused on the relationship between people and places. She is currently leading initiatives in London that support built environment professionals across different sectors to take a place-based approach to their investments and work towards long-term social sustainability. Prior to this, Larissa lived in New York where she founded Make Public, a consultancy focused on guiding and measuring the social impact of place-making initiatives. She is also a founding member of in.site collaborative, a feminist multidisciplinary collective of urbanists. She has lectured at Parsons School of Design, and previously worked at the Gehl Institute and the Healthy Materials Lab.
