The Wood and Metal Workshop is the hub for traditional model-making at the AA. The space is equipped with hand and power tools to enable the crafting of models and objects out of hardwoods, softwoods and metals. Knowledgeable staff and assistants with extensive experience in model-making and fabrication are available to support students.
Access
Workshop facilities are available to all current students and members of staff upon completion of an online induction at the beginning of each academic year. Hand tools and portable power tools may be borrowed for short periods of time, according to availability.
Students can also receive advice online from the Wood and Metal Workshop Team.
