Critical Space

Critical Space seeks to position the archive as a site of critical reflection, challenge and speculation. It explores ways in which the archive is complicit in the construction of memory, the formation of identities, framing of ideologies and projection of knowledge systems.

Featuring a 1920s magic lantern display, historic AA student drawings, film, costume and models, we invite visitors to experience the archive as a space for creative re-animation – a space for critical encounters.

Opening Times:
Wednesday 1 – Friday 17 June (closed Sundays), 10am–7pm
